KELLY ROWLAND IN SOUTH AFRICA
Another day, another city….this time I was in London busy enjoying myself with friends and family….and I receive THE call!!! ….Kelly Rowland is coming to Africa with MTV for a tour and will be performing in South Africa, but here’s the catch….she would like to perform with an all African band……fine I say… no problem I SAY….we at Bounceback that’s what we do – we connect North America with Africa…..so I jump on a plane (yes I am a jetsetter!!) and head back to Jozi!!
There I secure some of the hottest musicians in the Country – thanks Lindelani for all your help in this. And I have to give a great big shout to musicians extraordinaire, Frank Maseko, Khaya Mthiyane, Michael Buchana, and Thabo.
With only 2 days of rehearsals, and then a performance (err Daren…you don’t expect miracles then) the band had to learn about 10 tracks and with only a few hours rehearsal with Kelly herself….. they smashed it….Kelly and her band brought the house down at the famous Sun City resort , where she was in town to perform at POSI+IVE ROCKS on the Friday and then the main show on the Saturday.
After the main show, we hosted a special private party for Kelly and her crew curtsey of the man himself Patrice Motsepe. I have to say…I am still getting messages from people saying that was one of the best parties ever…Thank you Patrice and my apologies for the bar bill….it wasn’t my fault!!!
DJ Jarren C you are the master…you had everyone shaking their behinds!!!….with 248 shots of jeigermaster for about 40 people – well of course it was a hot party!!!....7 days later and I am still feeling the aftershocks!...but I have to give a special shout out to Paul….you pulled that party together in a day….magic! ….Zolisa, you were the host-tess with the most-tess (yes I know not grammatically correct…so sue me) and not forgetting Hylton…the man who recorded all our sins that night!

Bounceback did it again….come on guys….you want to come to Africa, then there really is only one way to go…….Ok now I need to go back to bed…stay tuned! ….oh and Colin – I am owed a holiday!!!

Kelly Rowland weekend was this past weekend in Sun City. It was fantastic and she was brilliant. BB loves the way she works.
